We just wrapped up Biggest Loser “25” last Monday night. It was a good group, and I think we learned a lot. Perhaps the best thing was they realized they’re getting in pretty good shape.
Many of them participated in Boot Camp workouts 3 days a week on M/W/F and did their own cardio workouts on the other days. This has helped them them build an engine inside that is going to take them a long way toward achieving their long term goals.
Everyone who finished has told me they’re amazed at how far they’ve come. They never would have believed they could do some of the things we’ve done in Boot Camp over the last seven weeks. But they’ve proven they can do it.
Many of them have lost several inches, and others have gone down in clothing sizes. I just read the other day that a pound of fat takes up about the same space as a regular softball. That made losing a pound a week a little more meaningful!
Now the key is going to be doing it again. They’ve got to: 1) Set a new goal; 2) Stay focused; and 3) Stay accountable. If they can just do these three things, sooner or later, they’ll get what they want.
Our Week Seven Winner was Sasha Robinson, who lost 1.7% of her body weight and 3.2 lbs. Kara Stribling was 2nd, losing 1.4% and 2.0 lbs. Allyson Marrs placed 3rd, losing about 1.0% and 1.6 lbs.
Our overall Biggest Loser for the Seven Weeks was Kara Stribling, who lost 15.5% of her body weight and 22.6 lbs. This was pretty fantastic, since she found out she was expecting several weeks ago!
Sasha Robinson took 2nd place, losing 12.0% and 22.0 lbs. this also was amazing, because she didn’t join us until the start of the second week. That means she did it in just six weeks total!
Krista Krabel finished in 3rd place overall, losing 7.8% and 16.8 lbs. Dawn Lewsader finished in 4th place, losing 3.6 lbs and 10.6 lbs.
So what’s next? I’m excited to get the next group started this coming Monday at 5:30 pm. For the first time ever, we’re going to partner with the hugely popular 24-Day Challenge.
People have had some great results with it as well, so it got me wondering what would happen we added our expertise and Boot Camp workouts to it. So we’re going to do a special 4-Week Biggest Loser and 24-Day Challenge together.
If someone does the 24-Day Challenge, they’ll get the 4-Weeks with me at the gym for free. Or, they can just do the 4-Week Biggest Loser. Either way, I’m looking forward to see what happens. Let’s wrap up the summer in style!
